Sun-Shaped Brass Mini-Mortar & Pestle
Vintage—Sun-shaped solid brass mortar and pestle, 2" tall, 2.5" diameter at mouth (not including "rays"). Pestle is 4" long, also solid brass. Fits comfortably in the hand. Ring on side is for hanging or holding pestle in place with a finger. Turning marks in brass from its original manufacturing, several dark marks and faint discolorations from use under a nice patina, some holes in welding where rays were attached. No dents or breaks. Good condition.
