Red & Cream Art Deco Jewelry Box
Vintage, possibly Antique—Art Deco wooden jewelry box with off-white lacquer and red Lucite detail, 8" square, 3.5" tall. While the lacquer on this box shows its age and use, it is still quite solid and attractive. The wood and hinges are in good condition—all wear is superficial. The paper lining is lightly faded and has been torn along the hinge but remains intact as a lining. The mirror, which features white lined detail, has notable clouding but is still clear enough for use. Superficial hairline on the bottom that does not go through the box. No maker's mark—date of manufacture estimated 1930-1960. Good condition.
