Art Nouveau Desk Set, Scissors / Letter Opener / Holder
Antique—Complete desk set in Art Nouveau design, scissors, letter opener, and holder. Scissors are chrome blades, oiled bronze / brass handles with nouveau design, 9.125” long. The handles are in great condition. The blades are straight, meet properly, and still cut but have notable tarnish in the dark chrome (see photos). Letter opener has chrome blade, oiled bronze / brass handle with floral design, 9.75” long. Handle is in good condition. Blade has some tarnish under the bright chrome (see photos). Holder is bronze / brass with a floral and nouveau pattern. 6.235” long. All show expected signs of use. Absolutely beautiful set. Dates from the 1920s. Good condition.
